Abstract
Introduction & Objective: The enduring human aspiration for a healthy, ideal society, strongly emphasized in Quranic teachings, underpins this study. Such a society, with divine governance and laws guiding correct individual and social relations, is presented by the Quran as a practical path for elevation, outlining repeatable patterns universal across racial, ethnic, historical, and geographical characteristics. This research aims to delineate how such a society can be achieved within the Quranic discourse. Its primary objective is to develop a standard for distinguishing balanced behaviors from decadent ones, and to identify the factors for societal advancement, through the typification of Quranic patterns.
Methodology: Employing a descriptive-analytical method, this article explores the pathway to realizing the desired society in the Quranic narrative. The approach involves an “interrogation of verses” to derive a comprehensive societal outline.
Findings & Conclusion: The study’s core finding is the formulation of a general framework for a Quran-based society, established on realistic criteria and fundamental components. This framework determines analogous, recurring models that transcend specific demographic attributes. Ultimately, this derived Quranic model is posited to serve as a blueprint, guiding society towards an ideal state that integrates both the human existential dimension and their living environment. It thus offers a concrete, divinely inspired plan for societal transformation, distinct from purely imaginative utopian constructs.
